About My World of Learning
My World of Learning is a non-profit child care centre guided by a dedicated volunteer Board of Directors who are committed to supporting families like yours. Since opening in 1994, our centre has grown alongside the community and has been proudly located in the secure residence building, Davis Hall, on the Nova Scotia Community College Truro Campus since 2001.
My World of Learning Child Care Association provides quality inclusive child care for students and staff of Nova Scotia Community College, as well as families within the local community. If you would like to add your child’s name to our waiting list:
At our centre, children are encouraged to build positive relationships, develop important social skills, and gain the confidence they need for a successful transition to elementary school—all in a fun, engaging environment.
Your child’s safety and well-being are at the heart of everything we do. Our centre is fully licensed by the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development and regularly inspected to ensure we meet high standards for health, safety, and quality care.

Hours of Operation
Our hours of operation are as follows:
Monday to Friday: 7:30 am – 5:15 pm
Open year-round except holidays, one week for professional development/maintenance typically the last week in July and the days between the Boxing Day holiday and New Year’s Day holiday (In 2026, we are closed from July 27-31 and December 29, 30, & 31)
